Just Get It Done Declutter Challenge Day 17&18
Friday was dealing with scraps. I spent the day emptying the box on my sewing table that was full of scraps. I sorted them my color and size and then worked on my trail of tears pattern. Saturday was the day to sort batting, but instead I decided to empty out the smallest set of scrap bins and sort them for garbage or confetti. I use lots of small bits of batting for book marks and 5 x7 artworks and others to make objects dimensional. I feel the batting is not an issue at this time. I sorted the scraps into three shades per color and spent the day cutting them into small bits. I finished up around 3:00 am and got a lot more organizing done. Now all my fusible scraps are sorted by color and my large thread spools are near the sewing machine in drawers.
Who would think one small box of scraps would spread this far.
Most of the way finished, what they look like when cut. Didn’t really want to waste anything so whatever wasn’t used for confetti went into a new cat bed.
