Declutter Challenge Day 8 & 9

Day eight was scissors, snips and rotary cutters and day nine was threads . I moved my scissors to the hooks where my rotary cutters were and then rehung those on the hook my scissors had been on that I moved below the hanging rod. My left handed blade is on the small shelf beneath the scissors and my ribbon scissors below this. I also located my appliqué scissors and put them away. I clipped a pair of bird scissors next to each sewing machines for clipping threads.

Found two pair of scissors to get rid of. Not sure the purpose of the scissors that leave a wide space when you cut and the snips bought last year for use by my machine and didn’t like.

Day 9 was an easy day as my thread is pretty organized. My main quilting thread is on a yellow pegboard organized by type, color and thread size. Basic sewing thread is on the thread rack hanging below the other thread. My guetermann collection sits next to this board and my machine in two plastic bins with spool holders. Hand sewing and silk thread is on this small rack on my craft pegboard. Bobbins are all separated by thread type in cases in the drawer next to sewing machine. A large board with wooden pegs holds large cones. A spool rack keeps the threads for current projects organized. I put these away and all the threads were in order.
