Declutter Challenge Day 12 & 13

Day 12 was decluttering the sewing stations. My sewing areas were cleaned again and unnecessary things moved elsewhere. Spent the rest of the day trying to sew miniature paper pieced birdhouses. This was a long fruitless endeavor that I did not enjoy and finally gave up on. I did make another mess of my ironing station.

Day 13 was notions. My notions are pretty much organized from last year. Ribbons, velcro, elastic, mask supplies, ect all in easy accessible spaces. Large ribbon spools on wall, extra spools in closet and small usable bits in a nice jar. Buttons organized by color. Yarn which was moved to the spare bedroom during last years decluttering is still organized. I’ve organized all my canvases, stabilizers, fusibles, zippers, fabric paints and beads in the dresser I brought upstairs when I paired down all the toys for grandbabies. I put a few odds and ends away and worked on my Appalachian commission. At the end of the day I cleaned my ironing station again. It seems a little bare now.
