America Bald Eagle
This is a raw edge collage quilt of an american Bald Eagle. The background fabric was painted in advance with textile paint. A multitude of fabrics were selected to cut individual feathers and then quilted down. The border design is my own and is quilted with free-motion feathers.

Collage quilt with fused and dimensional leaves and flower petals. Flower centers are beaded. Flower pot use trapunto and heavy stitches. Raccoon is raw edge applique and heavy thread painting.
